Films From Glen Rose Round-Up Added to Texas Archive
April 17, 2012 - The Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI) added eight films contributed during the Glen Rose Texas Film Round-Up to the TAMI Video Library, including interviews with Glen Rose residents about life in the pre-nuclear power plant era and a 1970s silent western made by students from Glen Rose Junior High. San Antonio Local Filmmaker Grant Accepting Applications
April 11, 2012 - Applications are now being accepted for the for the San Antonio Local Filmmaker Grant (LFG) program, a $25,000 grant for the production of a feature-length commercial motion picture in San Antonio, Texas. The program is funded and managed by the City of San Antonio Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA). Hill Country Film Festival Announces 2012 Festival Film Lineup

Applications Open for Texas Filmmakers Production Fund
March 29, 2012 - Once a year, the Austin Film Society awards grants to emerging film and video artists in the state of Texas through the Texas Filmmakers' Production Fund (TFPF). Since 1996 the Austin Film Society has awarded 451 grants, totaling over $1.15 million in cash and over $100,000 in goods and services to 351 projects. Texas Archive of the Moving Image Launches Texas Entertainment News Collection
March 13, 2012 - The Texas Archive of the Moving Image (TAMI) has added nine episodes of the 1990s television series Texas Entertainment News to its TAMI Video Library. Created in 1996 by local media producer Fred Miller, the weekly half-hour entertainment news program featured music, film production and entertainment events throughout Texas.
