I am a solid first AD working mostly in Austin and some jobs in LA. I am very organized and prepared when it comes to preproduction. On-set time is precious, so I will ensure that there is more time spent shooting than being lost. Producers, UPMs and directors value me, because I will satisfy both the reality of production and the director’s creative vision. I will always make our days and the set run smoothly because I can adapt to any situation that comes our way.

I’m bilingual (English/Spanish) and have extensive experience in the field of video production as a videographer with an emphasis on documentary. As a director of photography, I can provide a polished and elegant look or an edgy cinema verité style. I have shot national PBS documentaries, History Channel projects, local direct commercials and music videos. I treat my work with diligence and a high degree of craftsmanship. My experience also includes field sound for video and grip work on a variety of projects. I own a full Sony DVCam production package (switchable 16:9), audio equipment and an Adobe Premiere editing system.

I started out as an actor/stuntman and wrangler in 1979 from my rodeo experience. I am an active member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and have been for more than 22 years. My real film education came when I started working behind the camera as a production assistant. A short time later I moved into props, and about five years after that I became a property master. Over the past 15 years, I’ve worked on more than 25 feature films and television projects and about 250 TV commercials as a property master, stuntman/actor, wrangler and livestock coordinator.
